Excellent place to be

Everyone is welcoming and share their love of sewing. Help is openly available from Lucy, Kate and all the ladies at the social. A lovely venue and inspiring place to be. Not only is the sewing part important, but the like minded people are just lovely.

Friendly and helpful

Whist on holiday I joined one of the May Socials. What a busy session! Lucy and everyone was very friendly. I wanted to learn how to sew stretch fabrics (and sadly not in the area for a workshop), however Lucy got me started investigating different types of stretch fabric and needles, then into the setting up of the sewing machine. By the end of the social I had successfully sewn a jersey infinity scarf. I'm thrilled with the result. Lucy is an excellent tutor - thanks to her for giving me so much help during a busy session.
