Viscose: (100% Rayon. 142cm wide. 110gsm)

Viscose is a semi-synthetic type of rayon fabric made from wood pulp that is used as a silk substitute, as it has a similar drape and smooth feel to the luxury material. The term “viscose” refers specifically to the solution of wood pulp that is turned into the fabric.

This fabric is ideal for dressmaking projects; easy to handle, press & stitch it offers new & experienced sewers a good quality finish. A very light weight & versatile fabric means dresses, skirts & blouses hang well. Vibrant prints wash well without any colour running or fading. This quirky mid scale design is perfect for those who like a modern twist on traditional fabrics.
